Fifth Moon is an ode to the Vietnamese summer solstice holiday, at which food is central. In that spirit, we present phenomenally food-friendly wines from California made to pair with dishes from around the globe.

Gamay Noir
Fruity, spicy, supple, and soft.
Our Gamay Noir features mouthwatering notes of plum sauce, strawberry jam, and sour cherry candies tinged with hints of earthy fall wildflowers. Carbonic maceration was applied to keep the wine light and bright, while foot treading lended spiciness and complexity. In the glass this wine is supple and soft. Aged in neutral oak for 9 months.

Field Blend
Fresh, bright, fruit, spicy, and vibrant.
Semi-carbonic maceration softens tannins and brings out delectable fresh and candied fruit flavors. Find notes of raspberry coulis, lavender, red currants, sage, pluot, clove, and cherry Twizzlers. A field blend of co-fermented Zinfandel, Mourvèdre, Mission, and Alicante Bouchet.
Our field blend red wine pairs well with Vietnamese BBQ, mapo tofu, and pepperoni pizza.

Red Blend
Juicy, ripe, fruity & soft.
An easy-drinking Napa Valley red wine with tons of ripe red fruit, raspberry compote, red and black plum, blackberry pie and bramble, with oak characteristics of vanilla, cedar, and clove. Tannins are soft with a lingering juiciness. This wine is affordable enough for a Tuesday night, but will be something you want to drink all week.
Our red blend red wine pairs well with burgers, red sauce pasta, and your favorite pizza.

Zinfandel
Fresh, fruity, spicy, and crunchy.
The grapes for this wine were picked at 19 Brix for a brighter, fresher take on Zinfandel, a contrast to the classic Lodi Zinfandel characteristics of jammy overripe fruit and oak. The wine packs a wallop of fresh, red fruit aromatics and flavors– think strawberries, raspberries, and Rainier cherries, layered with black pepper, star anise, wet river rock, spiced plum, and hoisin. The complex flavors are delightfully balanced by great acidity and a crunchy mineral finish.

Rosé
Crisp, dry, refreshing, mineral & bright.
Classic aromatics of wild strawberries, pink grapefruit, red berries, Mandarin orange, wet rocks, and crushed watermelon are wrapped in crunchy minerality and mouthwatering acidity. The finish is reminiscent of watermelon Jolly Ranchers and strawberries & cream. The grapes are whole cluster pressed and spend just enough time on the skin to obtain the alluring salmon pink color. Crafted of 71% Grenache, 23% Mourvèdre, 6% Cinsault.
Our rosé pairs well with oysters, caprese salad, & grilled fish tacos. Or whatever you like.

Our juicy rosé will pair with just about anything. We’ve selected 3 cheeses you can easily find at any market with a decent cheese counter.

Grüner Veltliner
Crisp, dry, refreshing, spicy & bright.
Our twist on an old-world classic. Get all of the spice and freshness you would expect from a traditional Grüner, but with a juicer, riper profile that lets you know you are in California. Find ripe peach, white nectarine, lime blossoms, and subtle notes of grain that lead into a lean yet punchy mid-palate full of minerals and sandy loam. Lingering notes of wasabi and Makrut lime finish clean.
Green curry, vindaloo, pho, sushi, or even fried chicken. Yum!

Riesling
Crisp, off-dry, bright, refreshing
An off-dry rendition crafted entirely of gorgeous fruit from Las Brisas Vineyard in Los Carneros. Wafts of lime peel, lemon verbena, gummy bears, slate, and wet stones stand out in this crisp, off-dry Riesling. You’ll find this wine to be impossibly bright and refreshing.

Chenin Blanc
Crisp, dry, refreshing, round & bright.
Chenin Blanc
