Filipino Peanuty Wings with Fifth Moon Chenin Blanc

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup Kare Kare sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sriracha
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 12 pieces cooked chicken wings, warmed (baked, air-fried, fried, store bought, etc.)
  • Toasted white sesame seeds for garnish, optional
  • Sliced scallions for garnish, optional

PREPARATION

  1. Whisk together Kare Kare sauce, sriracha, honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a small saucepan until combined. Bring to a simmer. Cook about 1 minute.
  2. Turn off heat and add butter. Stir until melted and fully incorporated.
  3. Transfer to a large bowl.
  4. Add wings to sauce and toss to combine.
  5. Plate wings and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve immediately.
