Duck Confit Flatbread

Recipe inspired by Chef Max Ackerman

Serves 1-2
ACTIVE TIME 10 minutes
TOTAL Time 25 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 naan or lavash, store-bought or homemade
  • Plum sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • Duck confit, store-bought or homemade
  • Emmenthal or other Swiss cheese
  • Caramelized onion jam or chopped fresh green onions

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. On flatbread, evenly spread plum sauce to cover, leaving a border.
  3. Add duck confit. The more the better, in our opinion.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and flatbread begins to brown. Remove from oven.
  5. Top with onion jam or fresh green onions. Slice and serve.
