Answers to Questions
Wine Blending 101 is a hands-on blending experience where you get to play winemaker for the day. You’ll learn the basics of wine blending from a member of our lab crew, taste wine components blind, then craft your own custom blend—white or red. At the end of the session, you’ll bottle your creation and design a label that’s entirely yours to take home.
Plan for about 60 to 90 minutes. It’s a relaxed, guided session—not a race—so come ready to explore, ask questions, and enjoy the process.
The experience is offered every Saturday with alternating availability between red and white wine options. Check Tock for current session times and availability. Doesn’t work with your schedule? Prefer the white wine blending, but only red is available? Reach out, and we can assist with booking a private blending experience.
Wine Blending 101 is $150 for a red wine group session, $125 for a white wine group session. The cost includes all blending materials, your finished bottle with your custom label, and an official RD Lab apron. Advance booking is required through Tock. Private blending experiences are available at $195 for red wine and $170 for white wine. Email us to inquire about a private experience: hello@rdwinery.com.

Yes. Wine Blending 101 is open to guests 21 and older only. Valid ID is required.
The RD Lab is located at RD Winery, 3 Executive Way, Napa, CA 94558. Check in at the tasting room when you arrive.
